We had little more time to create our last piece on the last days of our Intervention Art course (I've blogged about in two previous posts). On this one the task was to make something private public. To make our inner world seen to an wider audience.
My inner world is quite optimistic, laid back and even naive, some could say. So I made rosy glasses full with flowers and comic characters and asked common people from the streets of Pori to look the world trough my glasses for a while. These awesome people of Pori allowed me to show them my view and take their portrait photograph.
I must again say how wonderful the people of Pori are. Most of the people I asked to participate in my Art piece were willing to do that, no matter in how hurry they were. Thank you!

ihania ihmisiä! Ihanaa nähdä ihan oikeita ihmisiä! Tai siis kyllähän niitä kaikkialla on, mutta.. no kun täällä mun koulussa kaikki työt tehdään koulurakennuksen sisällä tai muille opiskelijoille, niin kaikista töistä tulee vähän semmosia.. irtonaisia ja falskejakin.
Millasia reaktioita sait ihmisiltä? Saiko ne kosketuksen sun kreisi-ihanaan maailmaan?
On ihania ihmisiä! Jotkut juttelivat enemmän kun taas toiset ottivat teokseen osallistumisen tehokkuuden kautta. Leidi vaaleassa baskerissa oli otettu "kun häntä filmataan". Veikeä hymyinen herrasmies taas olisi ottanut lasit mielellään mukaansa itsellensä. Nuorempi parrakas mies oli veljensä kanssa ja innostui poseeraamaan monenlaisessa eri asennossa. Viimeisen kuvan iloisen hymyilevä nainen ei välittänyt vaikka lasien sangoista jäi vähän valkoista hänen nenän pieleensä. Kaikki olivat ihanan herttaisia kun lähtivät mukaan ja jakoivat arkisen perjantain kanssani! <3

Yes I made the glasses myself. The pictures were taken in down town Pori by asking random passerbyes to take part. I used Canon EOS 1000D with 50mm objective.
